Andrew Ullmann has worked as a textile agent since 1986, and now concentrates on the highly successful and respected Italian mill, Parà s.p.a., who have been represented by him since 1992. The Company’s administrative assistants, Lisa McLean-Dutton and
Lorna Earle have been with Andrew for thirty years. This highly stable and loyal trio delivers the best service to ensure their customers are relieved of headaches and save time and money.
Parà s.p.a. is based in Monza, near Milan, and has 5 closely located specialist manufacturing plants to ensure the highest quality vertical production from fibre to fabric. The company was born in 1921 by Sr Mario Parravicini, the late Grandfather of Michele, Matteo, and Marco, the third generation owners of this world-renowned textile family. Their Father, Sr. Ambrogio, could have retired some years ago, but continues to set the work ethic example as Group Chairman.

From time to time we hear the question, “Why work through a representative or agent instead of directly with the mill?” Most mills are so busy that they must focus on the complex internal processes from design to despatch and need local representation to develop sales, and answer the equally important but more routine questions concerning orders and their progress.
